Surreal Visions Tarot – Ein Tarot-Deck mit handgezeichneten Motiven aus dem Skizzenbuch
78 Karten (Schwarz-weiß) + 2 Extra-Karten (Farbe)
Limitierte Edition – Auflage: 200.

ENGLISH:
Surreal Visions Tarot – A tarot deck featuring hand-drawn illustrations from a sketchbook
78 cards (black and white) + 2 bonus cards (colour).
Limited Edition: Only 200 pieces.
Over the course of 2025, I filled a single Moleskine sketchbook page by page with dense, surreal drawings – freehand, using pigment ink on paper, without digital tools or AI. I called this project ‘Surreal Visions’ because every page felt like a glimpse into the subconscious: symbols, creatures and fragments of everyday life collided and transformed into something new.
At the same time, the sketchbook became an analogue counterpoint to the digital world through which we navigate every day – timelines, feeds, notifications. It gathers questions about identity and values in an age of constant distraction and fragmentation: who are we when we are endlessly reflected by screens and data? What still feels real – and where do we find meaning?
Whilst drawing, I kept returning to the structure and spirit of the historic Marseille Tarot and to the early Surrealists of the 20th century. They sought images beyond reason, guided by dreams, chance and automatic drawing. The same impulse runs through this sketchbook: letting the hand move faster than the mind and trusting in what emerges.
Over time, it became clear: these drawings were not meant to remain an isolated project. They were meant to become a cohesive deck – a tarot that functions as a tool for card readings, but also as a standalone work of art, rooted in art history, Surrealist thought and a reflection on our digital present.
Surreal Visions Tarot is my attempt to bring this sketchbook to life in your hands – as a deck with which you can read, reflect or simply lose yourself.
